Consciousness and What Do You Want to See?

I finished our radio show to our audience the other week with the statement "What do you want to see?"

Not "What do you expect to see?"

In our humanity our physical eyes come with mental filters. What we see and what we expect to see are defined by our emotions, beliefs and perceived truths. How we feel totally shifts our vision. Just consider when you are in love. The world does get rosy as that is the heart energy coloring the incoming data. Notice how harsh the light is when you are angry. How cold and gray it is no matter the sunshine when you feel gloomy inside.

If you look at the world as a hostile place it is. If you look at those around you as not supportive then no matter how much they are you will not find them to be so. For your biases are filtering. Opportunities are being missed for you can not recognize them due to your mental blindness in your emotional reactive states.

What you see is always going to reflect what you allow yourself to see.

I appreciate my own humanity as I do others for we are all expressions of Consciousness. I may not like what I see and the feelings that some may stir. I don't have to like certain people. How is it possible that I can know that I am all right, my family is all right, that the world is all right when I can see that there are troubles around me? I can appreciate that as Consciousness, all is right and I feel that in the deepest places within my form.

Right now there is much releasing in our community of man/woman. It is happening on all levels of our humanity and is moving us along into what we want to become. As the earth is releasing magma from below the surface so are we. We are molten inside. Our fluids of self identity are coming to the surface ready to form new ground.

People are at different stages of awareness of their own processes. For those of us paying attention we welcome the changes, and uproar and the shifting of what we have been holding not so buried inside. It is to our betterment no matter what the path might look or seem.

Be surprised. In a good way.

We can not necessarily go by what we think we are seeing. No matter what we are seeing. Our technologies can be manipulated to fool us. Information is flooding us that supports any bias and we may not notice.

As you do your own releasing of limited viewpoints and take in new possibilities of being consider this:
What is the difference between what you see right now and what you want to see? Bring these two points of awareness together and see what happens.

Be open to the potential released. Be wonder, See wonder, be beauty, See beauty,be kind, see kindness, be compassionate, See compassion, Be okay with being angry, confused, betrayed whatever the emotions that you become of aware of. Be okay when they are not present.

Consciousness and that Loving Navel Feeling

Between reading the energies I sense, my own stories and what others bring to play with in group, information and patterns abound. Sometimes we come loaded with stuff that has been in our face and sometimes we are sitting in a group in a "contemplating our navels" state of mind. It was funny how in contemplating this time, love came into focus.

I love how we come into awareness at times. The phrase "contemplating your navel" showed up. Yes, I love my navel. Do you love yours? When is the last time you looked at it with any sort of awareness?

Though one might wonder or contemplate this association maybe this came to mind as we continue to explore connection and through the navel, our glorious belly button, because, what better symbol about connection to another? This is the deepest awareness we each have of being part of another.

Does it provide a great symbol of love to you?  How often do we truly reflect upon what the navel is about? How you view your relationship with your mother may color your view of your belly button. Probably we are more judgmental about if it is an innie or an outie. (88% have innies) And no, apparently the attending doctor has nothing to do with how your navel scar forms. (I read that on the Internet)

Navel also means the central point of a place. Synonyms are center, hub, focal point, focus, nucleus, heart and core. When we sitting in Heart Centered Awareness as we so often do in group we are in integrity with heart and core and maybe perhaps the energy of mother be it genetic mother, mother earth, feminine and goddess divine.

The words Consciousness Core has been floating around in my mind lately. And how Consciousness is at our core and our core is holding THE SPECTRUM, THE ALL THAT WAS, IS AND WILL EVER BE. So, instead of the association of small that one might hold about core, our core is not a small thing in the center of our being but an expansive state. Our being is in our core. All of us known and unknown is at our core. All that we know of the world and worlds around is are at our core. All past and all future is in our core. The past as energies, the future as potential and the present is where they meet.

In the openings of, the unfolding of our interior spaces these days we are revealing and shedding old beliefs and truths. Much is falling away and we can see with with fresh eyes, new awareness into our new states of being. There is no thing to fear. For the Consciousness Core is all right, fine, okay, in good shape, whatever word or words you use to define being in peace and trust and the warmth of creation. Grace. All this is real and you can feel it now, anytime if you want to. It is only a matter of shifting your awareness and witnessing with a compassionate heart yourself and those around you.

Our thoughts are powerful in creating. We witness this when we shift our perspectives from head on to above and around as in left brain to right brain to whole brain integration. Thoughts are our expression of Creation. Think and then feel the emotion to the thought and if it is interesting, validating enough to the limits of your mindsets it will be able to manifest into reality and walk hand in hand with you.

In the last few weeks we are "seeing anew" and our brains are opening up in categorizing the incoming data and making use of it. We move things to trash and then dump it on our computers and phones. We have become used to updates and upgrades as common, annoying often but common.

We can do that with our brain and memory mindsets. What is felt as overwhelm is when our brains can not compute the new information due to the limits set up as mind states. When we are accessing our selves as Consciousness, we resonate with our awareness that more is possible, There is no resistance so there is no overwhelm.

We are also relating to our concerns in new ways. When you hold that you need to process the new information, mull it over for a time, you may be triggering your need to control your world. Control can be set pretty tight and small and leave us reeling in feeling and thinking and as experiencing as less than. The portals to others and information can become stuck open and we can't keep up. That is the power of a blink. It relaxes the muscles and allows for reset and integration each time.

Our perspectives can then get stuck which is what many are experiencing. We can drift in overwhelm or we can access Heart Centered Awareness and make time to play with contemplating our navel. Check in and see what rule sets of mind have been directing that are no longer your new truths. See what discoveries might be there for you.

And then engage, activate and revel!

Consciousness and Seeing Clearly

Blindness is present in most of us in some way. It can be present in not only our physical eyes but mentally, emotionally, psychologically, psychically and spiritually. These encompass how we as humans interact in our lifeforms.

Our brains are "seeing" much more than just with our physical eyes. We all do with our non physical eyes. Data is incoming on all levels. Our eyes are subject to not only physical design and function but how they relay the outward world as information and data to our brains and on to our minds. Eyes each have function and then they function together and that information connects to our brains which are busy with coordinating all of the input into the whole system of vision and our other physical and non physical systems.

Much has been active about how we, the people, see the world around us and how we are in that world. Metaphorically and energetically we have been caught up in the flows. Groups here have been reflecting how we are shifting in our illusions of what being a person and an American is about. And those deep deep biases that may be present in racial. gender, sexual in issues of self and community. And I think that no matter the country that you are connected to in some way you too are feeling and seeing and sensing things differently about yourself, your neighbors and community.

What is important is how are brains and minds engage the new information, the new visuals that are appearing as we deal with each other. How we treat each other comes from within how we treat ourselves. There can be a disconnect. Mindsets don't change when there is no connection to what is happening around us. We can be frozen or numb or disengaged internally and externally. Overwhelmed is a different state of connection.

It fascinates me how people can hang on to what was when they have new information that would challenge the old. What makes us hang on? Why doesn't it change how we support a belief, a cause? Why do we resist? To me that is what health is, the ability to adapt and change and process as a given, instinctively. Seeing differently can be held as a threat to the inner held health of some thought. Lots of people have fear of death or engage in states of denial of the experience of life. Perhaps this is influencing our ability to change in our deeper levels.

Our emotions serve as powerful tools to forming how and what we see. Our perceptual biases, our illusions reinforce how and what we see. Our brains are busy relaying to our mind which is busy interpreting and holding steady at times. This is not the time to hold steady. My mind sets are much more fluid these days and that can put tension into the interactions of all my abilities to "see".

I am going back to my Yuen Method training and playing with how my mind interacts with brain and brain to eyes, eyes to themselves and eyes to each other including my third eye. Lots of areas of energetic stuff that can be compromising and enjoying my new inner awareness and sight. Becoming congruent in different levels of data incoming is bringing new focus. It may mean cutting down some of incoming stimulation of all the data through the eyes of awareness. As I have less need to justify, compromise, rationalize, and reason my mindsets and just allow them to shift, life gets easier and clearer.

It is about reorienting to this new unfolding me. I want to see clearly on my physical, mental, emotional, psychological, psychical and spiritual levels. That means I may need to update their interaction with one another and all that means for me. So that I can see clearly, appreciate what I see and be grateful for the ability to enjoy my new connections to self and others.

Consciousness and Spring Cleaning and Clearing

Spring is everywhere on display here in Portland, Oregon, USA. It is one of the great delights to drive around and see all the color of the flowers, bushes and trees ripening open. My own yard has much to offer so I don't need to go far to enjoy nature unfolding it's bounty.

We also associate Spring as a time of cleaning and clearing with new growth. Which in these current times is right on target as we redefine ourselves and as community members on a global scale. Activism is being engaged which is exciting for all of us as change as growth will come as a much needed result. The weather will also teach us appreciation for the now. As tomorrow it may rain and the beautiful blossoms will be on the ground downtrodden.

Things are different for me in my life this year, this Spring. I have never been this way before. The  cleaning and clearing taking place in my home is different. My clearing is also taking into consideration that my husband will be retiring from having to work daily starting June 1.

With his retirement will come changes in identity, his daily routine, my daily routine and our overall living situation.  I am fortunate to have been in a position to have things. Whether a supplement bottle or book or business card they can have meaning worth keeping or discarding, my choice.

My husband takes up a much smaller footprint than I do. I have been thinning through things and moving things to create new states of comfort for him and me. His sense of space is different than mine. Our ideas of the value of things is different. His focus will come home and his time will orient around it in new ways. I want him to enjoy his new orientations of himself, me and us.

We are looking in all the corners with fresh eyes and as opportunities to let go. It has been fun and exciting. It can be challenging.

It brings you present. I notice that what was important in the past may have shifted. Some things have become just stuff. They had moved into a clutter state because my value has not shifted as timely as it might have. Some things are standing out as more important as I sort through it all and update my outside terrain to reflect my new inside clarity.

There can be many reasons to keep what was once important. Memories and attachments are active. Some people may not have much as their lives are lived on a basic level. Some may not have much as they have never put down ties to a place or space. Or for some there can be a fear of having or of having too much. Some have much and maybe for some, a sense of too much is present. We nurture ourselves in different ways and levels of comfort.

I found it challenging in the past to let go of something that still has good life in it or  you don't use all the supplements in the bottle. You might need them later. Think about all those things you have put away to do for later. Later is now.

You know how you can move somewhere new and never open the box to unpack? The box contents are valued as important enough to be kept but not dealt with. You thought you might be moving in a few years and it has been several. How about when you place some thing somewhere and it comes into your awareness that you have not moved it in the last seventeen years. Not because it serves you where it is but because you did not have the sense of flow at hand and you have never realized how it could better serve.

As I engage in Spring Cleaning in my exterior environment it is coming as a result of my internal environment shift. Thoughts and feelings that date back somewhere in the past and were stuck are free to go now.

I have given up control of others in many ways. I am letting go of my illusions of people and my hopes about them. Not from a sense of hopelessness but from a sense that they are also Consciousness in Action and self directed. And that Life is really about all of us playing off of one another. Creating new ways to make it all work to be on this planet together.

Sometimes it is easier to deal with things instead of people. So here is something fun to do. Pick a room and sit in it and access Heart Centered Awareness. Free of story and limits let yourself be free to notice what you notice in the room. You may feel the Feng Sui approach. You can also notice what is still serving and what is no longer you. In your state remove the articles and see what you notice then.

Notice the laughter and bemusement in Heart Centered Awareness. There is no judge present about who you were when you thought that stuff important. Be grateful.

And while you are at it let yourself be open to looking at the someone who is present in your life in new ways and always, appreciate your own evolution in being.

Just allow for flow to be present.
