Journeys Into Enlightenment with Janet Podcast

What constitutes intimacy? Picture a baby snuggling to its mother’s breast. Picture father holding the baby, inhaling the baby’s scent. We are designed to be intimate.

We use the word intimate in a sexual context or to describe a moment between two that share a sense of closeness or maybe space in a restaurant. I am sure other situations come to mind. Intimacy is possible anywhere and everywhere one person meets another energy be it human or some other form.

We have all probably experienced how you can be physically intimate with another but not mentally, emotionally, psychically or spiritually intimate at the same time.  You can feel disconnections clearly that can create separateness.  And it can be uncomfortable when one is inclined to being intimate and the other is not.

What is it like for someone to know us, our secrets, our dreams, to “get” who we truly are on a personal level? For them to love us warts and all, to put us first?  Sounds nice. How often we offer it and experience it is another thing.

What is it like to be open with another, accepting? The opportunity is there. Especially in heart centered awareness, the field of Unified Consciousness. It happens all the time in the various consciousness technologies groups I have offered the last fifteen years.

In a state of Oneness there is no difference between each other at heart. We are all sharing the core of Consciousness. It can feel like love and it may be. It is witnessing each other in their truth and bringing out their best with warmth, support and non-judgment. And each person’s truth is simple. Each of us is Wonder in action

Many may shy away, or reject, or joke their discomfort with being seen in their truth, beyond their veils of social barriers and behaviors. Even when it is what is wanted.

What happens when it comes to the inner male/female directives or Divine dynamics?

If it is two dynamics locked up together and having different agendas life is not so much fun. Taking out the adversarial energy of our relating to one another goes a very long way to creating intimacy and what manifests out into our shared realities. The tension is thick out here around us and it is coming from within us. Adversarial energy makes for great theatre and sagas. It is also all illusion and presentation, performance art.

Essence forms here to explore what happens when one is in form, the body. This is the physical realm of contrast and that contrast can manifest in the male/female directives. Part of our Journey of Enlightenment may be the development of the state of unity that the body can represent and foster.

We can hold the viewpoint that our male and female are prisoners sharing a cell or. OR, we can shift in our perspective and realize that each is essential to the other and celebrate what is possible in being present with each other. I didn’t say work together. I didn’t say play together. It is about just recognizing the other as the matching expression. We lose our sense of separateness. Then our inner energies merge as a dance of movement sharing Life’s moments.

There is no work. It is not about labor. It is about natural dynamics free of human definitions. Take out all the competition and thinking in terms of differences between the two and you have intimacy.

Realizing that we are intimate with Mother Earth and her inhabitants of flora and fauna every time we go out our front door might be a new thought. It is a given we may take for granted. Hugging a tree, throwing a frisbee with your dog, petting your cat, digging for fossils are all examples of being intimate with our world. We are intimate with the air that we breathe.

We each have our stories of being alive, being human, being spirit. When we embrace the individual over the Collective, we are embracing the individual out of the Collective. There is always the Collective. There is always Consciousness, the sharing of the One. One heart. Not one mind but one heart.

This is intimacy.

Cosciousness and Being Present

Sometimes writing can feel like an uphill trudge. In quicksand. Not too often but it certainly is today.
So I will pay attention and just rest.

Been focusing on Mother Earth the last week or so and how we are in each others rhythms. Between her ability to self maintain and the human's ability to create havoc there has been a lot to feel and be part of.

JIE Episode 21 Blog/Remembering the Magic in Life

Episode 21 Blog/ Remembering the Magic in Life

I am all too aware of how hard life can be. So what?

I am into living magically. I like the State of Awe and Wonder and Appreciation that Magic encompasses as foundations to living life. Whether it is the bug on my arm out of the blue or wanting to wet my pants when laughing, life is enjoyable. And, I will choose the State of Awe and Wonder and Appreciation.

I love the following description. This is what I know to be true.

It is from Robert R. McCammon’s book Boy’s Life. I have not read the book, but this caught my eye as an appreciation of what Life can be about. The only change I would make is where he uses the word “believe”, I would use “know to be true.”

“You know, I do believe in magic. I was born and raised in a magic time, in a magic town, among magicians. Oh, most everybody else didn’t realize we lived in that web of magic, connected by silver filaments of chance and circumstance. But I knew it all along.

When I was twelve years old, the world was my magic lantern, and by its green spirit glow I saw the past, the present and into the future. You probably did too; you just don’t recall it.

See, this is my opinion: we all start out knowing magic. We are born with whirlwinds, forest fires, and comets inside us. We are born able to sing to birds and read the clouds and see our destiny in grains of sand. But then we get the magic educated right out of our souls. We get it churched out, spanked out, washed out, and combed out. We get put on the straight and narrow and told to be responsible. Told to act our age. Told to grow up, for God’s sake.

And you know why we were told that? Because the people doing the telling were afraid of our wildness and youth, and because the magic we knew made them ashamed and sad of what they’d allowed to wither in themselves.

After you go so far away from it, though, you can’t really get it back. You can have seconds of it. Just seconds of knowing and remembering. When people get weepy at movies, it’s because in that dark theater the golden pool of magic is touched, just briefly. Then they come out into the hard sun of logic and reason again and it dries up, and they’re left feeling a little heartsad and not knowing why. When a song stirs a memory, when motes of dust turning in a shaft of light takes your attention from the world, when you listen to a train passing on a track at night in the distance and wonder where it might be going, you step beyond who you are and where you are. For the briefest of instants, you have stepped into the magic realm.

That’s what I believe.

The truth of life is that every year we get farther away from the essence that is born within us. We get shouldered with burdens, some of them good, some of them not so good. Things happen to us. Loved ones die. People get in wrecks and get crippled. People lose their way, for one reason or another. It’s not hard to do, in this world of crazy mazes. Life itself does its best to take that memory of magic away from us. You don’t know it’s happening until one day you feel you’ve lost something but you’re not sure what it is. It’s like smiling at a pretty girl and she calls you “sir.” It just happens.

These memories of who I was and where I lived are important to me. They make up a large part of who I’m going to be when my journey winds down. I need the memory of magic if I am ever going to conjure magic again. I need to know and remember, and I want to tell you.”
Robert McCammon,  Boy's Life

My reality is slightly different from our hero. You can know magic again easily. By being present in Heart Centered Awareness and being open to remembering living magically.

Consciousness and Living Magical Lives

"The majority have been programmed from their past experience to expect physical decline. And while it is something they don’t want, they are programmed to expect it. And so, they’re going to get what they expect. It’s not that what they expect is the reality that everyone lives, but that everyone lives the reality of what they expect."
Excerpted from Philadelphia, PA on 5/7/03
Our Love, Esther (and Abraham and Jerry)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"The child is thinking, and receiving vibrational thought from you on the day that he enters your environment. That is the reason that beliefs are transmitted so easily from parent to child, from parent to child, from parent to child. The child is vibrationally receiving your fears, your beliefs, even without your spoken word… If you want to do that which is of greatest value for your child, give thought only to that which you want, and your child will receive only those wanted thoughts."
Our Love, Esther (and Abraham and Jerry)

These quotes serve as great examples of accessing the reality of Magical Living: Not living someone else's reality but your own. :

We are so often unaware of our programming. From the earliest of childhood imprinting we are non judgmental in our information gathering. At some point though we can start to question what we are taking in. We then will either continue with absorbing with acceptance or it starts to get conditional. And emotions, personality and programming interact.

Our physical senses take in information. They are our way to navigate in the world. Often not as strong as the animals around, like the dog's nose, we do have a broad vibrational bandwidth that we refer to as the supernatural, intuitive range. We can access it easily when we are tuned in. For some it is a constant bombardment of awareness that has to be tuned. Some are willing to go with their gut but not much more. Some hide in logic.

Being present, heart centered awareness, help us access easily these spiritual realms of being aware. Consider Time and space as senses also. Consciousness is both state and sense.

When you incorporate this bandwidth as real and helpful, life takes on a different glow and vibrancy and dimensional awareness.

Children live in worlds filled with magic. Everything comes out of the blue. Just reflect on the face of the baby and how it lights up in wonder at something that catches it's eye. Could be you or the ray of the sunbeam, and in the unseen to your eyes. Everything causes wonder, awe and appreciation.

Along with our own inner directives it will be shaped by adult concerns and mindsets. By adulthood most of us are living our realities established in our childhood. We will constantly be making  choices that support the reality status quo or challenge it.

A different reality has set in and magic may have a sense of being lost. It hasn't been but the reality has put it aside, maybe only to show up now and then. Maybe that is the play of the lottery in adults. Recapturing that sense of wonder, and unexpected delight.

What is it like to great each day with warmth, no expectations, only potential and surprises possible and the unexpected?

What was your self talk when you woke up this morning and began your morning ablutions? Our self talk is very helpful to indicate our magical thinking. Which will dictate our magical living.

Children and teens challenge us in how we are showing up and what we allow as real as adults. Magic and what we can call miracles are all about living with wonder, awe and appreciation at our core. For this world, each other and ourselves.

Feel the wonder, awe and appreciation as you sip your coffee, breathe in the baby smell of your child as you race after them, wipe up the spills, the quick kiss from a loved one out the door. Make the moment. All are magic in action.

This is your reality. What do you share?

JIE Episode 20 BEing is Performance Artistry

Journeys Into Enlightenment with Janet Podcast Episode 20 Blog

BEing is Performance Artistry

Many of us might not think this way but we each truly are performance artists. Our lives are an expression of Being. So, let’s consider the elements in expressing our art in terms that any great artist in any creative endeavor comes to know, as our guide.

Sheryl Hirsch-Kramer, my guest this episode suggests this with her students: Access the avenue of where the art is already done. Simply a matter of then expressing. Sounds like being present in Heart Centered Awareness to me. We will start there.

If you have never considered yourself an artist of being, no problem. Just let yourself be present. Take your next breath through your heart and let a re-tuning and refining in your integrity of Self and Consciousness. Right in this moment, you are experiencing the art of being alive.

You, by simply breathing are expressing who you really are. Whether you are aware of it or not, you already are.

There is that place where one is learning and the difference one feels where the medium meets the innate physical ability and the eye and internal says yes, this is my truth. Artists learn about their medium of choice, be it singing, writing, painting, numbers, people, etc. They navigate with developing skill sets and then reach maturity in the expression.

Any final piece is a marriage of inner and outer vision and intent and accomplishment. It will be an ongoing state of taking in information and awareness to express with its ebbs and flows of moments. Artists create a body of work. They will go through different periods.Sounds like living a life.

Great artists appreciate:

Judgment is fluid. No judgement, being the best you can be, is fluid.

No pressure to conform. We spend much energy in trying to meet others’ ideals that seem to have become our ideals. They are not.

Thinking outside of the box. Realizing that you have a box is important in order to not be defined by it.

Take new approaches. Embrace change.

Being fearless. Putting into action what is your truth no matter your own reluctance, the environment or the prevailing opinion.

It is innate, this ability to express oneself, in some way. Everyone around you is expressing their awareness in being alive.

Just breathe into the awareness that YOU are a work of art. A unique living breathing work of art. You are Essence in human dynamic form. Sometimes we can get nervous about how we come off to another. That’s okay. Let it be excitement.

Like any great work of art, we are invited to look beneath the surface or into what is showing. We can see into the illusion of the moment and find different moments in play. We see and feel dimensions when what we are looking at may only be a flat surface.

See another as the work of art that they truly are. Feel this planet as unique work of living art that it is. Treat both with respect.
