Journeys Into Enlightenment with Janet

Ep 23 blog   New Rules in the Games People Play

How do you enjoy relating to the men or women in your life?

We would like to feel that we enjoy both men and women. And, for many there may be conditions.

Are there patterns in the way we deal with the sexes that really are not enriching and keep the negative compounding daily? Are they filled with agendas, grudge match interactions, confusion, missed opportunities, much not said or acknowledged, frustration that you are not being heard? Perhaps fear of safety, lack of respect, impertinence.

You name it you can feel all kinds of things in your sense of connection with the other sex or another individual.

Whatever your dominant state of interaction is with others is, it reflects your inner sense of relation with your male/female directives inside.

We tend to maintain bias in our language. Here, we refer to each as the opposite sex and that might be part of the problem. What if they are not referred to as in distanced from each other but side by side? We need a different word. The abreast sex or the alongside sex doesn’t have the same ring does it? And, maybe we could use the term female/male instead of male/female? It registers energetically different.

Men and women are not the same, but they go together as part of the human design. They are complementary dynamics that can sometime seem contrary. One is not better than the other. Like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle that are different and they fit together interlocking.
They go together. Their differences work together to create and complete connection and unity.

Our powers are equal and complementary though we think them not, when we think in terms of strong, weak, etc. Yes, one may be physically stronger with testosterone, but can you really say a woman in childbirth is not as strong with her estrogen pumping? There are just differences in demonstration of what is possible. We are talking apples and oranges. Both fruit. One not better than the other.

We need some new rules in appreciating the differences between men and women that shifts our game of life and play. We need to appreciate strength and wisdom of all kinds that our sexual identities, ruled by our hormones provide us.

We need to get out of the Blame Game and start playing the NO Blame Game.

Compassion, Appreciation, Respect. These are the rules we want to align ourselves in.

We need to let go of the past and start, in this moment, to change how we relate. Maybe we need “Men are from Mars and Women love them” or “Women are from Venus and Men love them” as a better alignment of what is possible and the natural order. Unity, Oneness is the natural state of Being. There is only the One in Being for each of us and collectively.

How to get rid of the State of Victim/Abuser, which is the Blame Game?

One dominant rule in the Blame Game is the State of Forgiveness.

Forgiveness is the quality that someone else has done us wrong, they have hurt us. There is an imbalance that creates a need for justice, fairness. It is a deliberate choice to release feeling of resentment or vengeance towards others regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting, nor does it mean condoning or excusing offenses.

There are many considerations that are mentioned in that definition. All from our sense of Self which is usually invested in right and wrong.

From within Consciousness and Oneness, our position about Forgiveness is different. Any reaction to stimuli is mine. I can feel physical hurt, mental hurt, emotional hurt. I can acknowledge pain and it can move me to the next place, the next moment. We are each responsible for creating the experience. We are each responsible for what comes next.

If we are in a pattern or patterns of being hurt without resolution the hurts pile up and we get into the game of blame /forgiveness. Someone else has done me wrong. Victim thinking manifests. And some will say they forgive but they don’t forget. And that keeps it all in play. Only with forgetting does one cease the need to forgive.
What would it be like to let go of the need and energy of Forgiveness?

Access heart Centered Awareness and let your awareness of how you deal with the men and women in your life reflect how you feel inside about your inner world. Then pick someone who comes to mind and use the Hawaiian Ho’oponopono prayer towards them.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you. (for being in my life to help me to know wholeness).

I love you.

Take it in as you recite the words. Let them sink in. Recite it as many times until you feel different.

Then notice what it would be like if the other says it to you! Allow yourself to feel different. Allow yourself to let go what felt stuck emotionally. And Breathe. Breathe through your heart. Feel the shared heart.

Consciousness and a Man of Transcendence

Donald Malarkey's story caught my attention during the 75th anniversary of D Day a few days ago. The Oregonian newspaper here in Portland, Oregon did a nice piece of a few of the stories and remembrances of survivors. I took the time to read about these people before us, in a different America and their comrade in arms. I wanted to honor them for what they gave up for us then and now.

What struck me different about TSGT Malarkey's story of service is what he was to later say about his time in the war. He, in essence, expresses the Wholeness in Being that we can demonstrate. How we transcend beyond the suffering and the pain and cruelty that humans can inflect on others and show our capacity of human endurance and resiliency. There are always sides in any conflict. There are no sides in Oneness.

TSGT Donald Malarkey was just a regular Joe, from small town America, like so many others. He was awarded several medals during World War II. They include and are not limited to a Bronze star for heroic actions, Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, Parachutist Badge with 2 jump stars, and the French Legion of Honor Medal for military merit.

His story of service was as a member of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne. Malarkey, age 21, was one of the legendary Band of Brothers who jumped behind enemy lines to destroy German artillery on D-Day, 1944.  His unit took part in the assault on Brécourt Manor. He was awarded a Bronze Star for his bravery that day. But it was a long slog for Easy Company. Marlarkey was a sergeant by the time they took part in the ill-fated Operation Market Garden in the Netherlands. They also fought in France, Belgium, and the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944, the last major German offensive.

Malarkey was haunted by memories of combat and the devastation of losing fellow soldiers and friends, his family members said. Author Stephen Ambrose’s “Band of Brothers” and the subsequent HBO series were cathartic for him, his family told AP.

“There is not a day that has passed since that I do not thank Adolf Hitler for allowing me to be associated with the most talented and inspiring group of men that I have ever known,” Marlarkey once said.

I was in tears. For him, being a shining example showing the rest of us what Grace is and the potential in Being. I am sorry I did not know him. He sold insurance after the war. He lived to age 96 and there probably was never a day he did not remember the men and their shared experiences.

I know of others like him who have graced us with where the wounded human, going beyond his emotions, reaches into its essence at core never forgetting his connection of something bigger. I see it demonstrated around me all the time in the people I share this work with, my life with. They are my neighbors and countrymen and others from other countries. Many are in our past and some not yet in form. Some I know, some I like, some have titles of distinction, some do not. Most are strangers to me. Some come as the other side.

Giving in to pettiness and separateness, fear and loathing is easy.

Challenging ourselves to go within and find Oneness is also easy when you appreciate Wholeness in this physical realm of contrast. Just a shift of focus. Just make the choice.

We each can be transcendent.

Consciousness and Coming to Terms

In this wonderful epoch of time and space we find ourselves uncovering and revealing what we feel ®challenged by that has perhaps been forgotten but lingers both deeply and just beneath our surfaces. We are acknowledging what we have hidden, or maybe not felt up to reconciling in a past moment to another time.

The moment is now. This moment is all about stopping the hiding. Lingering emotions and patterns of behavior that attract like to like can stop. It is time to acknowledge our pains and reconcile our senses of self into our lives. We can't change the past but we can change how we relate to it. And when we do this we change our present and future self. This is what happens when we are honest with ourselves as Consciousness in action, free of human judgement.

We have chosen to play this out as a society and it presently is not pretty. We can't miss it. We can distracted by how this energy presents itself in so many ways as often blatant misdirection is active and so many rocks have been overturned. We are emotion packed packages in human form. Angered, confused, resentful, depressed, shamed, etc. Name any emotion and it is present. It can be felt as overwhelm, shut down, exhaustion, numbness, whiny. We are tired of feeling.

It has been a long time coming this reconciling and dealing with that which we have not dealt with before. What we do with our opportunity is up to the individual.

You can be blind to what you are seeing when it is mislabeled, misidentified, camouflaged. You can be trapped in your beliefs that keep you innocent of someone else's manipulations and conditions.

When we are coming from within our humanity we judge. We reason and rationalize our feelings, our thoughts and our behaviors in order to feel okay. We are not always wise when doing this. The biases we have in place will dictate outcomes.

If our interior judge is a hanging judge we are not getting a fair trail. We may find ourselves judged as lacking and judged to be in need of punishment. Many of our current cultures and some religions excel at this approach. It has dominated the societal and emotional landscapes for a very long time.

When we are engaging from within ourselves as Consciousness there is no judge, just information.
Make the time now to access Heart Centered Awareness as in this state time and space are fluid and what comes up can shift. You can feel better, more relaxed, with a different sense of wholeness. You can find yourself free to feel free of what has troubled you for so long.

In this state what is revealed is coming from a neutral agenda. The information that presents itself is free of judgment.  It is a way to appreciate our experiences in being and view them again without our biases, titles and labels.

What if we each used this time and space to acknowledge:

The slight,
The compromises,
The times you felt less than.

The time you made a choice that created havoc, not bliss, intentional or otherwise.
The time you made a choice when there was no choice to be made.
The time you gave up another piece of your autonomy, for someone else, to fit in, to be important.
The choice made in the moment that is lasting for a lifetime of regret.
The thing you feel you can not forgive yourself for.

Our lists can seem to be long. After all you have been judging yourself for a very long time.

The time you blamed others for what was lacking inside.
The time you were angry at others for what was lacking inside.
The time you made it about you and what your wants were when it wasn't about you.
The time you were arrogant in your sense of entitlement at the belittlement of others, knowingly or unknowingly.
The time you went past the stranger on the street looking away.
The time you used others to gain what you wanted.
The time you did not listen to your inner voice.
The time you did not speak up.
The time you played it safe.

The ways I judge myself for keeping myself safe?

What do we do with what we find inside acting like Russian dolls?

In this state of grace, warmth, support and non judgment?

We love it, accept it, and it will begin to register and feel different. We don't fight it, we don't deny it, we don't try and make it better. We don't hold it against ourselves. Even those actions that harmed others. This may seem beyond possible for those not familiar with consciousness technologies. It is not.

As outcome our human can offer sincerity, restitution, acknowledgment of the slight, apologize, ask for forgiveness. We can confess the slight from within the sincere awareness that we each can have and hold.

We can extend a helping hand, we can let down our arms, we can take life out of a battle plan logistics and engage differently. All involve the energy of the heart. as vital not as vacuum.

In order to experience more of my own light and you yours we have to allow ourselves to shed what we have made our humanity to be and undo the covering of our radiating internal light. And to celebrate the New Order.

We can  appreciate each as the creative dynamic we each are and look inside to how we are connecting to each other. Enemy or friend? Victim or abuser? Equals but different. Each position will bring about different outcomes, wisdom, sharing, truths. In your state of potential pick someone you are challenged to engage neutrally. See what happens when letting go of your fears and expectations and presumptions.

Don't save this work to a better time, better space, better whatever. You are affecting your life, your family, your work, whatever is important to you and to all of us by waiting.

We are able, willing, ready, deserving, as Grand Master Yuen of the YuenMethod® would say. What if you knew that you were?

Love, compassion, forgiveness, pardon, whatever it is that makes the individual feel whole, complete, nourished, connected is present in our spectrum of possibilities. Use this list on yourself first and see what happens.

Just use it.

Consciousness and a little Ho'oponopono goes a long way

One end of my yard
It started in our Tuesday evening group. Four women sitting in a beautiful backyard with the wind gently blowing, the fountain waters tinkling, flowers in color and scent and the trees, my most wonderful trees anchoring all of us.

We sat and felt the grass with our bare feet. Our breaths deepened and we felt our incredible connection to ourselves, each other and the grace of nature as we accessed ourselves as Consciousness.

We let what we had been noticing about the world and in our personal experiences of that world connect and release the energies present that wanted a voice to express.

Ho'oponopono, the Hawaiian practice of forgiveness and reconciliation sprang forth. We focused on each other. The three voiced simple words from within that heart centered state of unity and directed it towards the fourth.  We then directed it to each of the four.

In this work we call consciousness technologies we appreciate how we are dynamic creatures and running information in many ways on many levels all at the same time. We appreciate how in using consciousness technologies we can find ourselves to be present free of past stories of our challenges. We are open to how we can store so much stuff in so many ways within our body, mind spirit frameworks. Stuff that has crossed boundaries and limitations of time and space that the human mind loves to categorize and arrange around.

The four of us are all powerfully intuitive women who work with others and share in helping others in experiencing life. We each hold our own personal stories that come of relating to others that are not always nice and pretty but harrowing and complicated. We can embody the hurts and pains that comes with being empathic and service oriented in nature.

I have friends that are well practiced in Huna and Ho'oponopono practices. I am not per say. And that does not matter. For I and the others easily felt the intention and appreciated the space it created. When I later looked up at the end of the week for more information I was gently laughing as I always do when with synchronicity and trusting in what show us as what shows up so go with it state I am. It would seem we we right in alignment with the practices.

So the words are simple. I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.  We found ourselves speaking them slowly allowing ourselves to feel our response to each statement and connecting to where it was touching in our auras and physical forms.  We spoke each other's first name and then chanted the statements three times to each.

And what also came into play was when I was directed to say "We are sorry. Please forgive us. Thank you. We love you." And how that added, for some, a deepness, an answer to a "didn't know it was there need to hear" cry that was held locked inside out of our conscious minds.

We then spontaneously felt led to offer it to the children in the immigrant detention camps that have sprung up. We felt it received.

We then offered it to Mr. Trump and felt it bounce off literally so I created a bubble of Ho'oponopono for him to stand in and to stew in. Marinade is a great way to tenderize tough meat! Which were the words I heard. Fully knowing that it felt good to do and that his receiving it and utilizing the energies were two different things. We then offered it to the women around him who serve in his cabinet and staff and noticed how it was sucked in.  The next day, Wednesday, he ordered his misbehavior at least stopped for the moment.

Wednesday the state of Ho'oponopono was present during our radio show and with a client later in the day. It was still present on Thursday for our three groups to experience.

The state of Ho'oponopono and access to it is always present. If you are not familiar with it you can start with https://www.laughteronlineuniversity.com/practice-hooponopono-four-simple-steps/

With sincerity and in the moment dynamics of Potential and Grace that Consciousness embodies, change is possible. But don't do this if you are looking to change things outside of you without first being clear within. What will change is how you relate to what is outside of you within yourself. With a "I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you." directed at yourself first. Then our outward expression of thought and action come from within our inspiration and clarity free of attachment.

We felt the peace when we entered my yard Tuesday night. And the clutter of our feelings and thinking. When we were done we only felt peace within. And, it was good. Very, very, very good.
